Our customers are entitled
to take advantage of any of the offers that are available
on the Scotrail Caledonian Sleeper Services operating
between London Euston and Glasgow Central, Edinburgh
Waverley, Fort William, Aberdeen, Inverness and Aviemore.
The earlier you book, the more likely you will be able
to access these offers and you should book directly
with Scotrail at;

For groups of 10 or more, discounts are available dependent
on date of travel and subject to booking in advance
and you must call 08457 550033 direct and they will
connect you to the group travel booking office.

Customers wishing to
go to Glenshee
should travel on to Perth (north of Edinburgh) and continue
on to their accommodation by car taking advantage of
our 10% Discount on Car Hire (more details from
our office)
Customers wishing to
go to Cairngorm
and not wishing to drive should travel direct
to Aviemore and continue on to local accommodation in
Aviemore by taxi or on foot and then use the daily shuttle
bus service to and from the resort cost approx. £4.00
per day per person at time of writing. Alternatively,
if you would like more flexibility and intend staying
at the Boat Hotel or the Mountain Lodges which are only
10 mins from the town centre, you can take advantage
of our 10% Discount on Car Hire. In this case,
you should stay on the train & continue on to Inverness
(another 25 mins) where you can collect your hired car.

For example, a midweek train departs London around 11am
- arrive Newcastle 2.55pm - arrive Aviemore 7.30pm -
this is a direct train but Sundays run a slightly later
service arriving around 9pm and we advise you check
train times before you book.
Customers
wishing to go to Nevis
Range should stop at Fort William www.virgintrains.co.uk
and continue on to their accommodation by car.
Please ask about car hire details from our office. Alternatively,
for those staying at Tirindrish House the rail stop will be Spean
Bridge where you will be collected by car and transported daily
to and from the Nevis Range resort for an extra charge (subject
to availability).
Is there any public transport from Fort William to Nevis Range?
Throughout the year, excluding the maintenance period, there is a local bus service that operates routes from Fort William to Nevis Range, for an up to date timetable click here or call Highland Country Buses on 01397 702373. There are also many local taxi operators, most fares should cost approximately £10 from the Fort William area.
