This page has been developed to offer you links to the beautiful ski resort of the Sierra Nevada where our contact Mark Smith owns and runs ski hire and outdoor equipment premises within easy reach of the ski resort. He also has a beautiful Spanish Villa for rent during the summer and winter season see pics below). Located in Otura, the Villa is around a 35 min drive to the ski resort and only 30 min drive from Granada airport. Mark has intimate knowledge of the ski resort area and the fabulous town of Granada.

The Sierra Nevada resort opened on 2nd December with suitable skiing available but with a lack of snow before Christmas like most of Europe things were a little slow to get going. We had a large fall of snow on 23rd Dec. just at the right time and the Christmas trade was very good and hopefully it will continue throughout the season.


There are direct flights available from London Stansted to Granada airport with the economy airlines such as Ryanair which also fly to Granada from Liverpool airport and East Midlands airport too.
