Ericht Holiday Lodges are situated in Blairgowrie, in the heart of rural Perthshire, in a woodland setting adjacent to the River Ericht. They are only 10 minutes walk from the town centre with a variety of shops, hotels and restaurants.
These 'A' frame self-catering lodges are built to a high standard with full gas central heating making cosy, all year round accommodation in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland. There is an airing cupboard and storage for golf clubs, fishing tackle, rucksacks, walking boots or skis with parking available beside each lodge.
All lodges are fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, SKY TV, television, fridge and toaster. Crockery, cutlery, utensils and bed linen are all provided. The lodges have two bedrooms and open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with double sofa bed in lounge area. Each lodge can sleep up to 6 people. There is full gas central heating and electricity bed linen etc which are all now included in the price. Bath towels are available for hire and must be booked in advance.
There are two or three steps at each entrance but accommodation is on one level.
There is a small play park for younger children and plenty of space to run around. A full size cot and high chair can be used free of charge - just ask at time of booking.
Lodges are available from 3pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Compass

These
self catering apartments were converted from the
original Edwardian Coach House in the grounds
of the Compass Christian Centre, a residential
activity centre offering catered, dormitory style
accommodation for up to 42 guests in the main
house (Glenshee Lodge originally a former hunting
lodge). A great location only 8 miles from Glenshee
ski slopes you really get the mountain fresh air
here as well as a slice of peace and tranquility!
The
self catering accommodation is of a high standard
and is available in one of 4 apartments named
Prosen (sleep 4/5), Isla (sleep 4), Finlet (sleep
3) and Doll (sleep 2). Prosen is an upper floor
self-contained flat comprising lounge, bathroom,
cooking area, television, main bedroom can be
made into a twin or double bed and the other bedroom
has a bunk bed plus 1 folding bed in the lounge.
The remaining three units are located on the ground
floor and comprise bed sit/ studio accommodation
with shared toilet/shower facilities and so are
not visitscotland graded
Although
all 4 apartments are self-catered, guests are
welcome to eat tasty and filling meals offered
in a bright and welcoming dining room in the main
house at very reasonable prices a few yards away.
There is a well equipped Sports Hall adjacent
to the Coach House and our guests have access
to the Centre's sports and games facilities on
site.

This Victorian Lodge sits just down the driveway from Glenshieling House
and has its own pr ivate parking space. It has gas central heating and
comfortably sleeps five and, for the comfort of all visitors, it is a non-smoking property. Upstairs is the family bedroom, a twin-bedded room and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have coloured TV in them. Downstairs is the sitting-room, kitchen/diner and a shower room with WC.
In the cosy sitting-room you will find an information folder which you can use to help you get the most out of your stay in the area. This room has: - TV; DVD and Video machines; CD player with radio; a few books; and, some games. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with washing-machine, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, microwave and electric cooker. A welcome pack of a few basic groceries is provided.
The spacious twin-bedroom offers views over the Lodge garden and the Strathmore Valley beyond. The family room has a double and one single bed and looks out on to the woodland, which is home to the resident red squirrels! Your heating, lighting and linen are all included in the price and a travel cot and high chair can be provided if required.
To the front of the property is a patio seating area with table and chairs - ideal for alfresco dining - and at the back is a lovely South-facing garden. If you need help deciding where to go locally for a meal, feel free to ask the owners Rosemary and Catherine who will do their best to advise you and are more than happy to make a table reservation for you.
In Blairgowrie you will find all of the essential shops including a choice of supermarkets, tea rooms, restaurants, outdoor clothing outlets and even places to hire a kilt! The town lies on the River Ericht in the beautiful southern Highlands of Perthshire - the heart of Scotland . It is an ideal base from which to explore a wealth of interesting places, including castles, palaces and Royal Deeside. The area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and those interested in golfing, fishing, shooting and winter skiing. You are not far from the shops in Perth and Dundee , or the House of Bruar and the area also offers some of the most beautiful countryside imaginable.
