 Situated
in the centre of Blairgowrie, this long established skiers' hotel
has a wide range of attractions including the hotel's exclusive leisure club
well equipped with spa bath, steam room, sauna and heated swimming pool and free of charge to residents
Locker facilities and changing rooms are maintained to a high standard and regular pool maintenance is undertaken to ensure consistent cleanliness. A stand up tanning booth is also available for an additional charge.
You
can also connect to the internet on your laptop/mobile phone anywhere
in the hotel through the "T" mobile Hotspot facility.
Children will be pleased to learn that a Playstation is available
in the family rooms at a small supplementary cost. The hotel also
has various board games available too!
In-house entertainment during peak periods may include live music from selected tribute bands. The restaurant offers outstanding
traditional cuisine along with vegetarian and very many special
dishes. The 81 well appointed
rooms are all ensuite with television, tea and coffee making facilities and telephone.

Set amidst magnificent scenery, the
Spittal of Glenshee is the perfect snowsport base only 5 miles from
the slopes!
This friendly,
informal Hotel is renowned for its warm & welcoming atmosphere
along with superb buffet breakfasts, carvery dinners and bar meals. There
is a large skiers bar with a BIG welcoming log fire along
with the resident Springer Spaniels Mac, Ben & Sam! All rooms
have colour TV and tea making facilities. There are en-suite
and basic rooms available.
Hotel facilities
include a games room, sauna, drying facilities, and ski store. There
is usually a disco on Saturday evenings during the ski season!
The Bunkhouse
is attached to the hotel sleeping up to 12 people. It is equipped
with central heating, dehumidifier, electric kettles and Ladies
and Gents changing rooms, showers, (sauna subject to availability)
and WC's. There are no cooking facilities and meals are included
in the price and eaten in the main hotel.

This family run hotel originally built as a Georgian mansion in 1804, can be found nestled on a small hill just
500 yards from the centre of Blairgowrie. It is beautifully located
in 7 acres of well laid out private gardens and mature woodland. The owners, Cathy and Robert ensure a welcoming open log fire awaits you after a day on the slopes!
There are 15 comfortable en-suite bedrooms with tea coffee and hot
chocolate, colour television and each room has a beautiful view over the garden grounds.
Altamount House restaurant has an enviable reputation for its traditional and modern cuisine. Frequently changing menus are created by their extraordinary chef Andy Deeks, and top quality delicious meals are prepared using the finest freshest Scottish produce. All dietary needs can be catered for. The hotel also stocks an extensive wine list. |
The beautiful Terrace Room at The Altamount House Hotel makes a superb setting for wedding receptions, parties, dinners and functions, capable of seating up to 120 people for the reception. For evening receptions the Terrace Room can accommodate up to 180 guests.

This uniquely built B listed
stone round house was built in 1888 as a hunting lodge surrounded
by forests and heather clad hills. It is the ideal location for
groups & larger parties alike to begin their snowsports holiday.
A
friendly welcome awaits you at this family run lodge, with good,
fresh wholesome food provided, vegetarians catered for. Two ensuite
rooms (twin and double bunk) are available at no extra charge to
larger parties and can be reserved for group leaders.
On-site facilities include;
Inside; FREE use of the Games Room with table tennis,
table soccer and 2 free play pool tables, a fitness room, large
fully equipped classroom , lounge/library to relax in complete with
board games and a round room with log fire, TV & Videos. Outside;
a climbing wall, archery, assault course, sports
court (pre-booking required) as well as forest walks
& mountain bike trails and horse riding nearby.
The Lodge which has 60
beds & is centrally heated & carpeted throughout provides
an excellent value for money destination and our prices include

The
Royal Hotel located in the centre of Blairgowrie, is now under new
management and is currently undergoing refurbishment with another
20 rooms expected to be ready within the next few months.
Its
location is one of the more popular Highland tourist centres being
on the tourist route to Braemar and Balmoral and is also the gateway
to the Glenshee Winter Sports Centre approximately 20 miles away.
Golfers are also well catered for in this area and the Royal Hotel
is only two miles from the famous Rosemount and Landsdowne Courses.
Walkers
can follow the tracks of Highland brigands along the Cateran trails
and imagine clansmen with claymores or whisky smugglers with Garron
ponies using the same routes. Budding historians are able to trace
their family tree at the local genealogy centre too!
At
the Royal Hotel you will enjoy a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
in the most comfortable surroundings. You can relax after a day's
activities in either of the lounges including the newly refurbished
cocktail lounge, where occasionally live music is provided. There
are 47 bedrooms at the Royal Hotel, 31 of which are en-suite and
